Three Two (2025@BIM Records).
Three Two, is Bill C Ireton’s newest album release in 2025 debuting March 21st, 2025. I’ve always enjoyed taking standards and pop songs and stripping them down to a guitar, bass, drums, trio format. This is the second album I’ve done with the help of some fine musicians, Sam Sotelo on drums, and Ron Sotelo on Bass(Yes they are brothers). The first album I put out in 2009, Three, was the first installment of this concept with Wally Schnalle on drums and Jon Pursel on bass recorded at Wally’s studio in Fremont, Ca. and we had a lot of fun with songs like, Use Me by Bill Withers, Play That Funky Music by Wild Cherry, to standards like, God Bless The Child, and Coming Home. This new album, Three Two, consists of some of my favorites that I grew up with like, Fly Like An Eagle by Steve Miller, Isn’t She Lovely by Stevie Wonder, and standards like Sunny, and Misty. We recorded Three Two live in one day, July 13th, 2024 at Sam Sotelo Studios in Morgan Hill, Ca. and took the best takes to put on the album. We had a great time laying it down and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Both albums can be found on all streaming outlets as well as iTunes.com and Amazon.com after the release.
